Charlotte CSA Naval Ordnance Depot and Naval Works
(1862 - 1865), Charlotte, NC
A Confederate Marine Engineering Works and Naval Ordnance Depot was located here at the Mecklenburg Iron Works, using some of the machinery that was previously located at the Norfolk Navy Yard in Virginia.
